Whats the better lift kit?

Is 2.5 inch lift from Rough Country better than BDS 2 inch lift kit? RC is a little cheaper and a little taller than BDS. But the price seems the only difference. RC, $299.99 BDS, $414.99

I have the RC 2.5 with the 2.2 shocks on now. It rides better than stock by alot. People diss RC for having poor quality products, but from my experience they're great and have great customer service. The shocks could be a little bit better but they're fine for now. Things I'd recommend to get with the lift are the sway bar disconnects, trac bar relocation kit and bump stops if you choose to go that route. Good luck with your decision!

I would buy the BDS just for the warranty IMO. You will probably net near the same height with either lift.

BDS is a much better product. RC dose not QC their stuff very well where as BDS stand behind everything they make. another option is to look into the Zone Offroad Products. BDS owns Zone and uses the same springs between the 2 of them. they are just a little cheaper.

Lifetime warranty is always good. And I'm not afraid to pay more for better parts. And I'm sure they both would settle close to the same height after driving on them. Thank you all for the info.

Rough country is low quality garbage. I made that mistake once, and I'll never make it again.

Their customer support is great, but I don't wanna replace suspension parts often. People use their customer support as a crutch for reviews. That's crap because you have to call them all the time when their junk breaks.

Zone is also good IMO as stated above, but if you have the money for the BDS, get it.

I did look at Zone tonight and it shocks and spacers. I'm looking for the full blow suspension lift and I'm going to research on BDS. They may be shorter but sounds like a better deal. I like RC also but this is my 1st lift and my DD. I've heard about RC problems and there good points also. I don't know a lot about BDS. So I'm doing more digging at work tomorrow.

Thanks agian.

BDS again. Do a search here on BDS and jeepforum.com You will not find a bad word about them. RC you will find a lot of hit and miss.

True, I would go with OME over BDS if money was no option. and Zone the BB at 2 inches, but suspension at 3. only a few brands have suspension lifts at 2 inches.
