Title says it all. In identical condition, how much more expensive would you expect an LJ to be compared to a TJ?

It took me 8 months to find what I wanted to find. I was noticing a difference of about 4k on average of similar TJ/LJ. I was only looking for a stock 04 rubicon tj, I noticed several lj rubis in the 14-18 range, stock usually around 14-16. There were several that were completely done up for 20+, the tj rubis I saw, even when done completely maxed out around 18, generally in the 10-16 range.

Hope that helps, this was in the NE... MA/NH/VT/ME really.

The LJ will always be worth significantly more than the comparable TJ. I agree with the ~4k number. More importantly, the LJ will always be in higher demand and if you need to, you could unload it quickly if you price it fairly.

If you can swing it, get the LJ, they are better in every way. When I bought my TJ I couldn't afford the LJ but if I waited a year I probably could have.

I agree with the above 4 to 6 K depending on unlimited vs Rubicon vs Hard top vs soft top it could be $7000

I would have paid $25 k all day long for the beast I got 2005 LJ 29,800 miles $1500 winch, hard top, rubicon, after market bumpers, bad ass stereo, NO rust Rubicon with Currie 3.5 lift 255x75x16 newer tires ready to Rock and roll Beast!!!!
