Home in Pennsylvania to Moab, then to New Orleans then back home... 5,000 miles ticked off for that one. Trip before that was to Gaspe' peninsula in Quebec ,, nearly 3.5 million acres all to ourselves.. 2,400 miles roundtrip.. Moab again this May. . . . Can't wait.

longest trip I've taken was from western NC to the outer banks of NC. Around a 7 hour drive, about 1400 miles round trip. unfortunately it was 100 degrees that day and the jeep overheated on the way there

That great, good luck to him joining SEALs! and that ghost town trip looks amazing what a good idea, i would certainly want to do that one day

He had already been accepted for SEAL training and was awaiting his contract... then days later he had his motorcycle accident. Stupid kids and their damned crotch rocket motorcycles.

400 miles to nyc and back, i don't like it for long trips too much cause of the mpg and noise level. It was cool though driving around in the city, everyone stared like they've never seen an offroad vehicle before plus it helped that it was covered in mud, which they probably don't see too often either haha.

I live San Antonio TX and travel twice to San Francisco CA. I have family there and the trip is around 3000 miles round trip. Going 70 MPH on 31 duratracs take a big hit on the gas tank.

Did that all the way through Kansa 2 springs ago 3 rd gear 3200 RPMs 54 mph. Those headwinds can be really nasty..

Wow, and here I thought I was nuts for driving mine from Cincinnati to upstate NY and back on occasion, which is my longest. 530 miles each way, takes me about 8.5 hours. Last summer I did the entire round trip topless- made it so much more fun!

I would like to go to Jeep Beach sometime. Looks like a blast!

I use Mobil 1, if I'm up past 10,000 I'll stop and do it.. I carry a grease gun with me, and extra gear oil for the diffs..

Changed oil in el paso at right around 3k with a good synthetic. Actually changed all fluids because the gears in the axles were new and finished breaking in by that point. the rest of trip and changed when I got home. It was a very eventful trip! Baja is always a blast. Once you go once though, you will have to go every year. it's that addictive!

My average commute to work is roughly 180 miles round trip, 5 days a week. Oil changes are quite frequent for me. Just changed this morning. My longest trip in the Jeep was NY to virginia a few years back
