wheel fenders

i have a 2000 sahara...i was looking at another jeep the other day that was a sport and noticed that the stock fenders are not as thick...i don't have the funds to buy all new fenders, so what does everyone think about me cutting them down...has anyone done this, and what is the best way to go about in everyone's opion...i do not have the side steps, or sahara side moldings on the jeep anymore...will post new pic later

Are you talking about the plastic flares or the metal fenders? If you're talking about the flares there have been many, many threads with pictures on that subject. In fact there was one just a couple of days ago titled "Trimmed flares before and after."
