Exclamation Wheel Skins

I have chrome wheel skins. Does anyone have or can take a picture of what the rim look like under them. I'm at work and I am debating weather or not to take the skins off and paint the rims. What does everyone think?

Are you trying to blast off the chrome and just paint them or what. If that's the case id sand them down and hit them with a flat or gloss base paint.

What i am trying to figure out is what my rims are under the wheel skin... Do you think it will look ok without taking the skins off?

Under my hub caps its just the steel wheels, but no center caps. I've thought the same as you and still might at some point, but would definetely need to buy the caps to make them look right.

They look just like a hubcap..... nowhere to put weights on for balancing without pulling it off... Yank it and see what you think.... no harm no foul.... if you don't like what you see... save the paint money and snap that puppy back on.

As a matter of fact.... in that pic, you can SEE a wheel weight BEHIND it in the 11-12 o'clock position.

Yank that hubcap and see what you got.
