Wheel spacers?????

Do wheel spacers put more stress on your unit bearings and ball joints ? If they do how much wear will they do ?

Yes, but so do rims with less back spacing than stock. The tire moves further away from the axle, which increases the leverage applied to all the stock parts. Wear will depend on how big of a tire you use, how hard you wheel your Jeep and under what kind of conditions, the weight of your over all build plus accesories like bumpers and winches and armor, how fast you take corners, if you run a locker, and many other variables. The factory parts will last a good while with propper maintenance with 31's and some 33's, the front can handle 35x12.50's as long as you don't abuse it to badly, but you'll need to replace parts more often. The factory rear is only good for 33's unless you've got the Dana 44 rear end instead of the more common Dana 35.

Spdertrax, TeraFlex, and Synergy Suspension have gotten good reviews... M.O.R.E. makes them for the Ford 8.8 rear end swaps. I guess it depends on what you are looking for

You are going to be limited by your choices of wheel/tire combo... First decide on those and then see if you are going to need the spacers. I have 15x10 with 3.75" of backspacing (-44mm offset) and 33x12.5x15 tires. No rubbing and no spacers required... I can get the same tire on a 15x8 with the same back spacing and (-19mm offset), but that is in next year's budget There are far too many options out there, so do your research and then make a well informed decision!
