hehe, misinterpreted your original question. Ebay is your best bet but I don't know if you can just get only one. What size tire and rim are you running and is it on a stock carrier?
I got 2" spacer adapters for my trailer build from Wheel Adapter 5450-5500D Wheel Adapters But they are by the pair. May be able to call them and ask about singles.
Atthehop u may be right , went from a 215/75/15 to a 255 /70/15,,real problem is the rubber mounts that r attached to the tailgate wont allow the tire to go on , unless i take them off and trim about an inch or so off.. that might be my best bet. HAS ANYONE EVER DONE THIS. thanks for all the help guys. need to get it done. (DAUGHTERS JEEP)
I'm actually surprised you are having issues going with that small of a tire. Granted, it's a tad wider than the original size but in reality, 255/70/15 is only a 29"x10" wide tire which is still smaller than the more popular 31x10.5" size. Trimming the rubber factory snubbers might be your only option but I would instead suggest getting hockey pucks to replace the factory ones. They are thinner and may work better without trashing the factory ones in case for future use. Just drill a hole in the middle but you will have to buy shorter bolts since you can damage the inside panel of the tailgate re-using the factory bolts.
Take a close inspection of those factory snubbers before cutting into them. From what I remembered, there is a reinforced metal plate inside towards the bottom end. Can't remember if it has a cylinder neck on it or not. 2.5" seems excessive that's why I suggested the rubber hockey pucks. Cheap and disposable if you screw up.
