Hello all! Are there any disadvantages to using wheel spacers? I have slight rubbing in front and want to fix it right. What are your opinions on this?

Adjust the steering stops with washers if you're only rubbing at full turn. Spacers require routine maintenance to ensure their safety. They must be retorqued on a regular basis and then the lugs themselves need to be retorqued as well. Otherwise they are probably as safe as anything else. Tho' in some states they are illegal, and most tire shops refuse to touch a vehicle with spacers on it. Do some research in your area.

Spacers when used properly work well, but yes you do have one more point of maintenance like Infernogirl said.

they are known to work loose. AKA, one or more of your tires passing you!!!!

They can work loose just like your normal rims when you are beating on the Jeep, I mean when you are having fun. Just put a drop of blue loctite on them and you will be fine.

Place 1 to 2 max washers under the steering stop bolts per Jeep Steer Stop Adjustment

If it is only rubbing on one side, add the washer under the steering stop bolt on the opposite side of the Jeep.

And personally, I am no fan of wheel spacers. Not to mention it costs somewhere pretty close to $200 for a full set of spacers which is more than the cost of some wheels.

I wound up needing just one washer on the right to keep the left from rubbing. Worked great, took a total of 5 min with letting some loosening stuff sit to help getting the bolt out. And by god I had a free washer sitting on the shelf. It's the only mod I did that I haven't screwed up!!!!!!
