Question Wheel Stud Length??

I just got my new wheels and tires yesterday. Got the ION 171 15x8 wheels and BFG 31x10.5 tires. I'm a little concerned about the stud lengths because there's only about 5/16ths of the stud for the lug nut to bolt on. I can get only 5 and a half turns on the lug nut before it starts tightening up.

The guys at NTB said it's a little short but should be safe. They said that properly torqued, the wheels won't come accidentally.

Any thoughts on whether this is ok for off road use?

Here's a picture when the tires and wheels were still virgin

Got my Jeep with a Bestop on it, and it folds nice and flat.

Great looking sound bar you got there!

I was just playing at an open field in Plainfield, a few miles away from me. This is where I'd like to play, about 50 miles away:

I bought a gps just so I wouldn't have to worry about getting lost. I think there may be trails by the river in Morris. I saw a couple of jeeps there while jet skiing. I haven't checked it out yet, though.
