When crank windows became available?

We just started our search for our new (actually used) jeep and want crank windows not zippered. Does anyone know what year they became available or better yet standard? Also, any "lemon" years I should be know to stay away from? Thanks!!

Any year Wrangler with factory full doors should have crank windows.
The newer the better.

Just look for "full doors" when shopping, then you have the crank windows.
