Took a few pics and then took my family on a drive. Shortly after that I upgraded all the speakers. Love my TJ!

I changed the engine oil/filter and removed the Airaid air filter and installed an OEM airbox and WIX air filter.

When i first got mine a few months ago, i had some leaks fixed, fluids changed, put a new trail rated sticker on, removed milk jugs, put in sweet leds in the interior, got some custom paracord handles, swapped in new head unit, put in hella ecode housings with 70/65w osram bulbs, and a few more...

The side steps were taken off first thing! Next is going to probably be removing the carpet and heading to Line-X to get me some "custom carpet"

I first got my 2000 with 89k miles I replaced all fluids with synthetic and bought rims, some 33x12.50s and a zone 4.25" combo lift. That weekend I went on a 26hour hellish experience lifting the Jeep in 110* direct sunlight on a driveway over a two day period and swore never again.
Next ill either do sound dampening on the hard top or buy a soft top. Probably soft top and buy dampening right before next winter

Tell me about it. Worked great then one day BAM! stuck in second.

Long story short second and third gear, synchros, and bearings. Together they ate the main shaft.

Since then I haven't done anything to it but I just got my new Sway Bar links yesterday so those will go on this weekend

Nothing worse than wanting to take a trip back to the po's house and beating him to the point he pays to fix the tranny

Within the first two weeks, tore out carpet, LineXed entire interior/exterior, changed my interior from khaki to black, installed superbright LEDs in dash, Bedlined mirrors, fenders, bumpers and rocker guards.

Put the top down!
It was November so I was a little cold but I live in Mississippi so our November is still pretty much fall, which isn't much cooler than summer.

I still need to do this . I have every speed but 3..lol. Who needs 3 anyway?

I spent most of my time fixing dome lights and other knick knack things that one of the PO's just let go by...kinda like my resistor issue. I'll get around to it. I'm currently upgrading the sound system. Put in an alpine deck and have an alpine amp being shipped to me now. Am ordering 6.5's, 5.25's and sub next week. I fabbed up some foot pegs for it today in anticipation for spring.

Took off the "milk jugs", everything chrome went black, picked up my now ex-Girlfriend, did more "milk jug" activities, then 31's with cheap 2" lift kit. Damn that was 9 years ago.

Made a stinger for the existing bumper (warn) and built some steps right away so my wife could get in. ( I didn't mention to her it was lifted when I bought it haha)

New antenna (black stubby)
Nerf bar handles
Tub plugs
Center caps for wheels
Seat covers

Phase 2 will be:

Replace soft top
Add bumper heavy duty bumpers
Add wench
Remove carpet and bedline floor with Rustoleum liner
Install CB
Maybe up grade stereo with unit that supports NAV

and all the other stuff :-)

First upgrade: 31" BFG All Terrain TA/KO tires (goodbye, 27" street tires!)

First modification: Flipped the rearview. EXCELLENT!

First action: Learned to lower and properly stow the top.

Did that a few times until I was comfortable with it. Then I took it out in the mud and got stuck. I also learned how to get myself out. I smiled continuously for like four days and left all the mud on the jeep like some kind of trophy.

That was in April of 2004.

Still smiling, too...
