I've got 33x12.5x15 dunlop MT's on the TJ and I hate the vibration and noise. So I want to some AT's in the same size. Best deal I can find is $740 shipped for a set of only 4 Falken wildpeak A/T's.

Can I get a better deal?
Where did you get yours and how much were they?

I have BF Goodrich 33x10.5x15 AT/ KO 800.00 a set with mounting and balancing at discount tire. I really like these tires the way they ride. They do good in mud and sand too!

I saw some of the Falken A/T's at discount I didnt care much for the tread or lack of it looked more like a street tread than a AT tread the BF Goodrich AT/KO's deffenatley have a more aggressive and deeper tread!

Yeah I was looking at that. The tread looks thinner than my lo pro's on my e30. How ever I will always have my mudders. And I would be using this Falken's for the street mostly and they do come with a 60k mile warranty.

Good choice, by "looks" it's definitely a wolf in sheep's disguise. Seen them on another Jeep wheeling and they do perform well in mixed trail conditions. The owner had nothing but good comments about the tires and appreciated their "quietness" on the road.

How are those duratracs on the road? Noise? Vibrations? They look like the may be noisy

I love em. They make minimal noise for how aggressive they look. I can only hear a slight hum if I'm going ~35mph with the radio off and windows down. Any faster and i hear the wind from the soft top or the transmission noise, any slower they don't make a noise at all. No vibes from the tires either, they seem to roll pretty easily. Road manners are good, they are a very light tire comparatively and work well in any terrain I have thrown at them so far.

I recommend discount tire direct. They are a vendor on here and offer $50 if you buy a set of 5. The Goodyear duratrac is a great tire. Goodyear has a rebate that I think lasts till the end of the year.

DTD also offers a good warranty that costs a lil extra. I bought my mtr's from them.

I went with Duratrac for the mfg rebate and Tread Lightly rebate. It made them comparable priced.

Duratracs are great from what I have experienced. Noise is minimal, at least much less than what I expected. Handling is exceptional. Gives a great look compared to tires of the same size. IMO, they just look bigger.

That said, I was seriously looking at Falken Rocky Mountains if I didn't go with the Duratracs. If you are set on the Falkens, look at them. Same tire but branded exclusive for Discount Tire. May save a few bucks too, and if you are looking for wear get 5 and rotate them all. They'll last practically forever.

Yep I got a $40 rebate from Goodyear, $50 off from DTD, and a $100 rebate from Tread Lightly. Much less expensive than the Toyota Open Country M/T my brother bought!

They are very quiet considering how aggressive they are. I don't hear them over the wind and softop. So far I've found them to be very good offroad on rocks. I haven't gone in mud and I'm hoping it'll snow more so I can test them in more that the 5" we got a few weeks ago. They did great in the 5" though.

I forgot about tread lightly. I got that discount as well. The mtr's had a $80 rebate. Pretty much covered the cost if the 5th tire.

Like height or metric tire size? Looks like a 315/70/15 would be equivalent if it exists.

Anyone run Cooper Discoverer ST or STT? What is the difference between ST and STT? I've seen both. Do they sound loud on the road? I heard they were a cross between an all terrain and a mud terrain tire. They look bad ass and I also hear they last really long. thoughts? They may be comparable to falken though I think cooper is better. I have their All terrain tire, does well. It's quite and goes through everything. (mud is eh but that's to be expected)
