Where do you get your switches?

I'm going to make my own in cab winch controls. I know I could buy them but I wanna make my own. I have electrical experience plus I work in a sheet metal shop with a lazer engraver. I plan on making and engraving my plate. Throwing around some ideas on that. Maybe winch out "bad idea" cuz I probably went somewhere I shouldn't lol and "good idea" for winch in. Any suggestions or input welcome. And my actual question is where does everyone get their switches? Thanks

I'm not sure what specific type of switches you're looking for but I found this thread when I was looking for some switches, http://www.wranglerforum.com/f5/acce...ssory+switches

OTRATTW definitely has some nice switches. I have one of his for my OBA setup.

12VoltGuy has some excellent products as well, and will give you some great inspiration. I actually won one of his in-cab winch controllers, pictures of it are here:

Pirate4x4.Com - View Single Post - Winch control switch panel giveaway from 12Volt Unlimited!!!

Looking at the pictures it doesn't seem that special, but it is a very very nice product once you get your hands on it. If you want more inspiration, search pirate4x4 for 12voltguy; there are some awesome pictures showcasing his work to give you ideas on what and how to make your switch panels. There are some good examples in this thread:

And he has a site here if you're interested:

12Volt Unlimited.com

He actually has a good selection of switches on his site if you want to build your own panel, and the nice thing about them is they are sealed so you don't have to worry about the elements effecting them.
