Where do you put your ice chest?

My previous TJ had a rack over the spare tire, and I strapped the ice chest there. I always had to stand on the bumper to fish out a drink. Looking for some new ideas...

I run the Garvin Wilderness Rack along with an All J Products Interior rack. This holds all of my camping gear for a 1 week trip into the Baja California backcountry.

Going to Baja!

On the trail (Cañon del Diablo - Baja California) with my cooler inside of the Jeep.

Holding not only the Coleman cooler, but 10 gallons of gasoline, my full-size spare tire, and Hi-Lift jack.

Hey, Ken! How's it goin? I don't see that interior rack on the All J Products website. Do you know if it's still available?

[Sorry for the hijack.]

EDIT: Nevermind. I see it's the Kilby interior rack they sell.

What's the rack on the inside? I like the look if it. A few years back, I thought I saw an interior rack that attached to the sport cage, but I can't find it anywhere.

Hi, Border Dave! How have you been doing up north?

I bought this All J interior rack in 2004 - when All J Products had just moved to Colton, CA. It is similar to the All J Rack that they sold to the public, but it was BEEFED up for the owner's Jeep. I remember Quinn installed it in my Jeep. Now, he does Tech articles for the magazines.

This rack is BULLETPROOF. I have used it for 8 years, and I have ZERO COMPLAINTS.

I like the Mountaineer Rack. I'm also toying with attaching some tie downs to the top of a storage box.

I'd love to figure out a way to make an ice chest from an old Jerry Can, that could be carried on a rear tire carrier. Maybe cut and hinge the top of a Jerry Can, line it some type of an insulation, and make a drain plug.
