Where to find a long block?

I'm not a Jeep owner - just registered to help out my dad (who isn't so computer literate). He has a 2001 Sahara 4.0, small lift, aftermarket wheels, soft top, etc.

Engine's making some noise. His mechanic says it sounds like a wrist pin giving out - something inside the engine. I haven't heard it so I can't say much about it.

It's his DD, so no time for downtime. He wants to swap in a working/reman long block rather than dealing with a rebuild.

So...anyone know where to source a good longblock in the central FL area?

He's got his mechanic asking the local Jeep club. I did some quick searching and looks like I can source one from remanufactured.com, but I don't know their reputation. I would normally check out car-part, but he doesn't want some unknown junkyard pull.

Any input from the enthusiast crowd?
