Where to get 2005 TJ center console?

The 05 Wrangler TJ I just bought doesn't have the stock center console. It just has the two cup holders. Any suggestions on where to buy a decent after market center console at a reasonable price or a used one out of a wrecked Jeep? I'd like to have a place to rest my right arm and a place to lock up a few things. Thanks!

I am not sure what integrates with the small 2 cup holder front piece. You can get used full consoles on ebay. But if the goal it lock up items, look at the Tuffy full console.

X2

The stock center console is one of the biggest turds ive ever seen. I would imagine most of them will break with any semi-solid yank.

If i ever decide to risk it and start locking things up inside my jeep, the stock console will be the first thing to go.

Although an instatrunk may be a better bet as its mostly hidden amd wont draw any extra attention.

Hey i was wondering if you ever found a decent one, unlike the $300+ toughlock one like mentioned before. I just bought a 2005 Jeep Wrangler TJ yesterday and im looking for a center console to, not looking for anything to store stuff it, just mainly for an armrest.
let me know if you have found anything, thanks

Try daveysjeeps.com, they're always parting out wrecked Jeeps.

I just bought one from a salvage company outa NC today for 225 with the factory sub. I found them from using car-parts.com and did a search for consoles you can find all different colors as well to match your front part. Just give it a try and call them if there to far away and see if they do shipping like I did. I'm gonna wind up selling my old one once I get time to swap them out.

You can find them at many of the places the other guys mentioned (I like daveysjeeps and ebay). I found one for my 02, had the two cup holders only as well, the full console matched interior and everything, only issue, you will need to buy a special mount for your new console that attaches to the ebrake. Also, if it is an earlier year, the passenger airbag switch may be different, or not existent if earlier than 00, I think. (had a coin tray initially) Just some things to think about.

Define "reasonable price." Tuffy sells aftermarket center consoles (I just bought one myself). They're a little pricey, but I'm happy with how solid they are.

If you're willing to sacrifice cup holders, there's a neat stereo unit that accepts either head units or CB radios.

Ya know...I don't agree at all...I took mine completely out to replace speaker...Its fine ... Strong...well built...not a 'Turd''at all as you so eloquently put it. You said " I would imagine"...well...Stop imagining - folks come here for help not to be completely confused by someone's imagination...

Dude,, he's fallen prey to the " fear " propaganda and believes he needs Fort Knox like security. I choose not to worry about thieves, if they want it bad enough they are going to get it no matter what security devices any of us may use. If they want to break in and steal my air deflators, a pocket knife, and a couple of pens, then have at it.. We never lock the jeep up, except when at Lowes, there are just way too many angry young white people there.

I just bought one from them for my 06 LJ from him. Pretty nice unit and it bolted right in!

He said the subwoofer was likely blown (they all are ).....Cool thing was when I got it and took a look at the sub it had been replaced with a Kicker.....really sounds great.

I paid $125 + 15 shipping to AZ.....all in all a great deal IMHO.

PS.......they quoted $200 online but when I called them on the phone they said $125

PPS......Mopar.com has brand new ones with sub for ~$350 if you want a brand new one...but the one I got was very nice and actually looks like the rest of the interior from a wear standpoint!
