Who has the biggest TJ???

I thought this would be a fun, light hearted thread. It only counts if you have a pic. Lets see these monsters!

Hey

upinar ???

Have you had any issues with the spacers? I just put 1.5's on my Jeep, and there seems to be an old wives tale circulating about bearings. Have you ever had any issues?? Sorry for the hijack.

no, the spacers is the same as longer springs. You just need to get everything else needed to accomodate the larger suspension. output shaft angle, pinion angle, steering angles, trac bar angles, etc. have to be adjusted when lifting you car.

I thought you meant wheel spacers. I was a little confused. Do you have wheel spacers on your 8.8?? To widen the stance??

no, i had 2 inch wheel spacers. Funny you said that, Some may know but at 45 mph, front left hub bearing blew and sent the tire, disc, and part of the hub hauling ass down the other side of the rode, jeep slid on axle caster and lower control arm mount. VERY scary and VERY lucking i didnt flip. You are fine as long as you check the bearing every other month. A bearing will not just blow like that without showing signs of wear first.. I dont think they caused it though, The bearing was always loose but the spacers set it off i guess. dude, PM me of you need anything. I think were interupting this thread.

It's called a pinion break... it's a lot easier to stop the power at the pinion of the axle then it is after it gets multiplied by the gears in the differential at the wheels.

^ - seen those before. It has an air bag system to raise and lower each corner along with hydraulic assist so that it can raise and individual tire.
