why is one lift better than the other?

is it because of how easy the joints move to get more flex?

seems that most of the lifts all make very similar parts to use for the lift, so i dont see how any one can be that much better than the other. i know they are i just dont know why.

Quality of steel used, quality of joints used, and research done by the company makes one better than another.

Joints used, adjustability in the control arms/track bars, quality of the spring (sagging), included parts, shocks used. Really it depends on the driver and what they want. Generally though some of the less expensive kits just don't have the same quality and longevity of others. There are some that go against that seem to make most of their users happy like Zone though.

You also have to first categorize the lift sizes together. The higher the lift, the more parts that are required and the greater the differences can be in quality and composition of parts.

I know guys that have been running Old Man Emu for 100s of thousands of miles with no issues. That's why I have OME, under my jeep .. Yep, twice as much money as a Zone, or BDS, but has anyone seen any negative posts about OME? There are other quality lifts out there, but all I want is 2.5"s of lift.. In the world of off road aftermarket products you do get what you pay for..

there are quite a few differences when you look closely. the devil is in the details. hence, generally speaking, you get what you pay for.

Why is a tool from Fred's Dollar Store not the same quality as a Snap-on Tool? Junk in - Junk out.
