Question why my clutch pedal a little stiff

when i first turn on my jeep the pedal is fine it feel smooth. but when i start to drive for a while with alot of stop and go traffic the pedal feel a bit stiff. i have to put a little effort in to it and it a little hard for me to going in gear there no grinding or nothing when going in to gear. is this normal or is something going bad.

So, the hotter/ more you use the clutch, the harder the pedal is to push?
Sounds like your pressure plate is worn out.
