Ah HA!

That explains everything.

I traded in this:

(with a minor KJ detour along the way)
For THIS:

It's no wonder she's having trouble adapting.

It's apples and oranges. She's used to the handling and performance of the Mustang, the ease of entry. The Jeep will NEVER feel as rock solid or drive like a Mustang. Jeeps are by nature a little wonky. There just isn't any way to compare the two.

Hopefully she'll get used to it after awhile, but you should keep in mind that not every girl, is a Jeep girl. We're a special breed.

I just went from a 04 jetta to a 98 wrangler....I feel her pain with hopping in....trust me when I say it takes a little finesse when wearing business attire, especially skirts!!! lol I don't have a lift kit on mine yet - still stock, but I did get 32's on it so that brought it up a few inches just from that (and boy did I notice the difference! lol But I did get the handles and have running boards so that is about all my little 5'4" butt needs to haul myself up

That is one thing....I find myself cruising in my jeep now instead of driving like a bat out of hell in my jetta. I'm def a down home country girl and LOVE my jeep....I solve the hair in my face issues by pulling it back & wearing a hat...nothing like the wind in your face, thats for sure. And I guess with slowing down I dont' have to worry so much about that speeding ticket, lol.

Me too! I have slowed down a BUNCH!
I used to see a long straight stretch as an opportunity to see how far over a hundred I could get, now I set the cruise at about 65 and turn up the radio and watch the cars go past me.

When I had the Cobra, I was a VERY agressive driver. Darting in and out of traffic, frequent freeway races (loved that!) Now I'm about 90% cured of it. Well, unless I have a taligater or some dip pulls out in front of me yappin on his cell phone and does way under the speed limit, then I still go all angry irish woman.

Yea, it's calmed my butt down quite a bit.

lmao! I've had my Jeep for 12 years and have found there is no way to discretely hop inside while wearing a short skirt, not to mention heels.

good one s3nt3nc3d

My Jeep has a 4" lift and one little step bar. My wife drives it to work everyday (sometimes in heels) and even takes the little cherub to daycare. It can be done.

Tell her that if she wants to shrink your Jeep, then you get to choose something of hers to enlarge.

Wife: [silence]
