It will "fit" it is a Jeep...anything will "fit" just need the proper hardware. For what it is worth think you would need all the hardware as well.

I am having rear seat issues as well. I found out yesterday 97-02 are same. 03-06 are the same. Mounting hardware welded to the tub changed for some reason. If you happen to have new hardware you could reweld and have it work. Good luck.

Yes it will fit but you need the mounting hardware. The mounting HW should not be welded to the floor. It's bolted.

Never looked that closely at it, Going to have to look at getting some hardware then. Same or different hole locations?

Thanks

I haven't looked at a newer TJ in person, but the newer style brackets look like they would be better than the 97 ones.

Mine doesn't line up right, I think someone got a seat out of another year before I bought it. Mine is an 02, can someone take pics of the way the rear bottom of the seat is supposed to mount or latch in? Mine just sits on top of the bracket that is bolted to the tub and I refuse to put my kids in it until I get it fixed right. Thanks for any help

It says it installs with "minimal drilling", so I'm guessing it might come with its own brackets?

Are the small "loops" in the bottom of the tub ok to leave stock when going from a '97 - '02 style to an '03-'06 if the mounts bolted into the side are replaced for the newer style model rear seat?
