Will an '06 Gas skid fit a '99?

My 99' stock skid is rotten and I've got a buddy willing to give me an '06.

Has anyone swapped successfully?

Thanks

What do you mean rotten? Rusted through? If so, you need to look for other rust..... But I don't know if that will fit yours or not.

I believe they will...I also think that the later TJ skids were beefier as well

Rusty but I really don't have too much rust anywhere else. A problem spot is also in the body between the wheel well and rear.
I found out that plastic that "keeps" dirt/salt from getting up there is nothing more than a shovel for collection and storage
