Will the duster cover keep my amp/subs dry?

My amp is on the back of my box wich sits flush on the tailgate... If i get the duster cover will it keep rain out?

Thanks

it will keep a lot of the rain out, but i don't think it will keep ALL of it out... I have a duster cover, but i haven't even put it on the Jeep yet, so i'm not sure, but i would think that where it wraps around the roll bars would allow water in and possibly where it would meet with the windjammer. but I am not sure at all, just thinking aloud here...

A little is fine.. I just can't have rain coming in the tailgate area! Florida rain is random and I don't want to put the top on and off every other day haha

dont i know it... i am in south florida, and when it looks like rain, i put the top on and it may not rain. then when it is nice out, here comes the rain. I have decided that i just dont care about the water getting in anymore. but i do have a science to putting th top up now... I can get it up, back down, and bikini back on in like 10 minutes! LOL

ya, the bikini top is great, and the combo between that and the duster would be really good. what ya need to do for the seats is get some neoprene or vynl seat covers! then what you should do is pull out your carpet and put down some paint-on bed lining! makes everything waterproof, and easy to clean with temperamental florida weather!

I was seriously thinking about the bed-liner project! Only thing holding me back is all the wires I have under the carpet haha... It's a mess!

it's actually not as bad as you may think. I have a TON of wires between an amp and extra speakers and stuff, but once you get it up and start to clean and organize things it's not so bad. I would seriously consider it. I did it, it took about a day of cleaning and a day of painting and drying. It looks awesome and makes things sooo easy. There are a bunch of threads here on it to help. I used herculiner, it costs about $100 for the kit and has everything in it.

Neoprene seats and water don't mix. It'll absorb the water and eventually your seats will reek. I actually run the soft top without any windows. I have the amp and sub mounted in the middle and even when it rains, my amp stays dry for the most part. I can't see the duster cover being any worse then that so I think you'd be good. For the bedliner, the cable organization isn't anything more difficult then some zip ties and maybe some loom. Even some large heatshrink wouldn't be a bad idea. Then it's roll on, dry, and you're good to go!

I run the duster cover most of the summer and with summer rain everyday around here everything seems to stay dry.

the duster keeps everything dry, even by the windjammer.
I would go with bestop
