Will the stock Dana 35 hold a 5.13 made for a Dana 44?

Running the stock 3.07 ratio in Dana 35's on 33's right now. I know I need to upgrade but I found a guy who has a ring-pinion 5.13 ratio for a Dana 44. Does anyone know if these are compatable?

I believe 4.88 is the highest a D35 can hold

I kind of doubt it...considering I dont believe they even make 5.13s FOR a D35.

Besides, if you could, you would need to figure out something to do with your front axle since the deepest ratio you can get for the D30 are 4.88s.

The ring and pinion for the 44 is a different size than the one for a 35.

No, they are not compatible. You can not put D44 gears in a D35.

'78 Scout SSII - 345, 4 speed, SOA, locked, 33's...
'06 LJ - 3" lift, 33x10.5R15's, Discos, TrueTracs, 4.56 gears...

'80 Scout II, '89 YJ, '79 Scout II, '93 YJ, '01 TJ, '00 Cherokee - all lifted, most locked and all wheeled
