My stock carrier has a 32x11.50R15 on it right now and holds up just fine. No flexing or play at all.

Were you able to keep the stock third brake light or did you have to modify it?

Actually, I had already removed my third brake light before I even mounted this tire. From the looks of it I would say that it still would have worked just fine without any form of modification.

I have had my 33x12.5 on mine for a week. So far so good. It sits on the bumper so that takes some of the weight off. I took the third brake light off and added washer under it to raise it up about a inch and a 1/4. Looks just like it did with the 31x10.5 that was on it.

33x12.5 for 5 years. The MOST important thing is to keep the rubber bumpers tight on the tire. Depending on the back spacing and tire sidewally, you may have to cut or space the bumpers out. I used hockey pucks.
