TJ/YJ stock bolt pattern is 5 on 4.5. They will fit without adapters. The only problem I would foresee is if you put tires on those wheels that are significantly wider than stock. Spacers would be needed for a TJ, but I am not familiar with the clearances of YJ's.

JK Rubi wheels would need adapters. Their bolt pattern is 5 on 5.5.

Hhmmm, interesting. I just had a co-worker ask me if the wheels off his 2002 Dodge Ram 1500 (5 x 5.5) would fit a newer Jeep Wrangler. I told him no. By the looks of this I was wrong then.
So, would his wheels fit? obviously not knowing the backspacing though.

I actually have done this. A friend gave me a like new set of 06 Rubicon tires and wheels and I put them on my 89 YJ. Saying they fit is not exactly accurate. Yes the bolts patterns are the same and they physically fit if the Jeep is sitting still and you are not turning the steering wheel. When driving if I turned hard or hit a bump the tires rubbed badly on the fender flairs. Rubbed good size divots in the flares. I ended up putting a 2.5" lift on to slove the problem. I always had wanted to lift that Jeep any way.
