Funny I was just talking to RIP the other day about this. I keep forgetting that it's not common to have 100% replacement on windshields with your insurance. Out here it's automatically included because with all of the stone we have windshields don't last very long.

Unfortunately I think the cheapest you are going to find one is in the couple hundred dollar range. Unless you can find a whole windshield assembly for the TJ in a salvage yard.

Come to Florida and here its 100% fre with comprehensive + not deductible.

I got mine replaced this past Monday.
You should check your local laws, here in FL it's illegal to drive tith a cracked Winshield at least bigger than a 25 cents coin.Thats why the inssurance do it for free here.

Free in SC too, at least with a crack in it. Not sure about pitted. The receipt to the insurance company was 289 with the labor.

I had one replaced locally. Cost was 125 plus tax. It was rumored this place uses a cheaper auto glass but I have yet to see any distortion anywhere on it. Plus I didn't really care for my big jeep. I tore the windshield frame off and took it to them. There was no way I would leave it with them.
