Windsheild frame mounted lights???

I have installed the brackets on the windsheild frame and Hella 500 light ........but my problem is this...... I'm very anal about where to run the wires..... Ive seen guys drill holes in windsheild frame, run threw door jambs, I have never lowered my windsheild maybe I could run threw there by the hindge / threw the ruber moulding,
has anyone really found a clean spot to run the wires
any pic's would be great
Thanks
Chris

Down the firewall. The switch wires run through the rubber cut-out above the gas pedal.

i put mine underneath the cowel since it seemed way easier to take the cowel off than to take the windshield down, then i ran it into the enigne compartment and then into the cab area

Looking good Duck. Now all you have to do is strain your neck to see around them when you're driving.

I'm trying to put my brackets on now... and am having some issues. I can't get the paint screws to loosen. They seem like they want to strip and I don't know what to do.

Any help folks?

I actually thought about installing the switch for my second set of lights down there by e-brake but then i thought it would probably be a PITA to get to the switches when the e-brake was released.

Put the torx socket in the hole and tap it good a couple times with a hammer. Worked for me.

I got em! Finally... I had to use a hammer to get the torx in far enough. I replaced them with some black ones from the hardware store so I didn't mind to scratch the painted ones. Thanks for the help.
