It really was lots of fun. Probably going to leave it down for a while since I wont be driving any long distances and all on back roads

Maybe it was because the jeep was older. Don't know
I've heard the same thing with TJ's. They never are the same again..very leaky.

I suppose you could do this. I know in NY it's illegal. You have to have a windshield unless you're on a motorcycle.

So what if its a little leaky...It's a Jeep, it's bound to be leaky anyway! Why not drop the windshield if you have the resources to? I'm glad I did.

that was only half of the story. It also didnīt help to buy a cheep aftermarked replacement softtop, with overhead storage bags at the corners of the windshield. I didnt use them, but they always stored about 1/2 a liter water when it was raining, which they spilled then over my lap, when I drove on

Haha. Reminds me of last week when I removed my soft doors. I ran it through the wash first, the pockets had filled with water. I pulled one off, kinda flipped it over my head to throw em in the back seat. I got a face full of soapy car wash water. dude next my jeep had a chuckle. Well, I did too. It was hot out
