Windshield light bracket questions

Hey Guys,
Well I thought I could maybe make it a week without having a question, but I can't.

I'm getting a set of 6" Hella's from a buddy and was wanting to get the windshield mount brackets. Has anyone had any problems with these and where do you run the wires?
Thanks

I've heard of some different ways to do this. I've heard of people running the wires through the engine bay, through the weather stripping on the doors, and drilling holes. I'm not one to drill holes personally but it might make for a clean look on the windshield not having wires going every which way! By the way... City Sticker en route tomorrow!

When I had mine on my YJ(RIP), I ran my through the engine bay to a toggle switch on the inside. I ran mine alone the hood channels with some heat shrink. Never had a problem. I think they look really cool. I think I might get a set for my TJ now.
Hope this helps. Sorry no pics at all!
