Windshield Rubber

I searched and couldn't find anything so don't shoot me if there is a topic on this already.

My rubber seal on the inside of the windshield has pulled away in the corner. Can I replace this without pulling the windshield?

That's a standard feature.

Yes it can be done. Quadratrac has the item.

In case anyone cares I replaced mine today when the windshield was out being replaced for a crack. I think it would have been almost impossible to do with the windshield in. The glass guy agreed especially if the windshield had been replaced before. Amazingly mine was still the factory windshield. 9 years old and 140K miles.

I second that. It should be able to be removed and another put in. Probably should use the black urethane and its special primer...although some brands don't need primer.
I used 3M Windo Weld and primer I got, in stock, at Carquest. I'm not making recommendations, but that is what I used and it seems to have worked fine for me so far. I changed my whole windshield though, to a new frame and used both inner and outer seals, but you should be able to pull out the inside rubber if you are careful.

I didn't even re urethane mine (inner seal). The urethane left was plenty sticky and the new urethane on the windshield over lapped the inner seal some. Should be good now.
