Windshield Wipers don't work at all!!

I went to turn on my windshield wipers today to brush some snow of the window. Well turns out, they don't work. At all. I don't know how long they haven't worked for or anything. The Jeep hasn't been driven by me yet and before I owned it, it sat for a few years. I googled this and got a few hints, but would just like to know if someone had the same/similar issue on a 98 wrangler. Thankyou!

Check the wiper motor....my wipers would only work on hi...I changed the switch and the same thing happened. I popped open the cowl cover and the wiper motor was shot. Picked up one from a salvage yard...swapped it out in about 30 minutes...tried it, and worked like a charm.

If you go to a salvage yard and get one exactly for your jeep, it should come with the plug and the rubber boot that covers the motor....keeps you from splicing wires and the moisture out of the motor.
