Winter Coming For Lil' Brutus

As the leaves are already beginning to fall in NH, I am considering some "Winter" mods for Lil' Brutus. I don't want to drop the bucks on a used hardtop, so I am considering either a set of Full Doors to replace the half doors and soft-skins currently on the Jeep or just purchasing a set of upper half sliding window inserts. Thoughts and opinion are encourage and welcome. The budget is tight! Thanks!

IMO you'll be fine with the soft top. How much snow do you get? The Jeeps heater is like a blast furnace lol. However full doors are nice in the winter, but I see people with half's all over the place so it can't be too bad

i had the upper half doors with glass sliding and they were better than the zipper plastic, but i would much rather a full hard door. the halfies still flexed in a good wind and leaked too.

About 70 to 120" per year. But Lil' Brutus will be garaged. Looks to me that Full Doors are a hard find. I did see a pair of fiberglass upper sliders which may be an option. I did not know they made the upper sliders in fiberglass. Thanks!

I to found out about the fiberglass upper sliders--but it was after I got my "regular" sliders.
The sliders are ok--but prefer the soft uppers for actual opening and closing.

Example is the drive thru at most fast food places---it is almost easier to just open the door. But if you Rarely open the window in the winter you'll be fine. No probs with leaks.
