Winter wheel/tire set

I know this type of thread has been put up numerous times but there is never a clear answer as everyone has a different problem they are experiencing.

I am looking to purchase a set of winter wheels/tires as my polished wheels won't exist after winter if i keep them on. So i have been offered a set of stock wheels with 31X10.5s. Will these rub when turning at all? I am not worried about articulating and rubbing the flares but in turning will i do damage. I would prefer to not have to adjust my steering stops. As i would be adjusting them again when i put my other wheels on. Any advice?

Yes, they will probably rub without adjusting the steering stops. If it is just for the winter to save your good wheels and you aren't going to wheel it get yourself a set of wheel spacers to offset the steel rims.
