wiper problem

I have a 97 wrangler and the wipers wont work. When i turn them on it blows the fuse everytime. Could this mean i need a new motor? Thanks

Yes, it could also mean something is preventing the wipers from moving and causing an over load. Does the fuse pop instantaneously or does it take a second or two?

Check for obstructions, remove arm from motor assy and rotate manually.

Bench test the motor.....
