Stuff breaks man, it sucks but it is what it is. It could have been much worse or more expensive stuff lol. Just get to an auto parts store and take an afternoon to get it all fixed up. Dude if that makes the worst day of your life, you've had it pretty easy What was the 'pucker factor' when that thing broke off tho. Bet it was like an 11 on a 1-10 scale. It's gonna cost you like 75 bucks to get that all fixed tho. dont stress dude!
I hope you don't lol No like Rubi2 said it was probably just a weak point and would have happened to anyone eventually. It got worn and finally gave out; no biggie! Go grab a new one and pop it in! As for the muffler? Hmmm scotch tape??

My exhaust looks like that without my driveline coming apart and it's no big deal, something has to give, I'm sure you would rather it be the cheap u-joint rather than the driveshaft right?
actually in the past couple days ive realized a bit of chirping and vibration coming from the rear. but when i drive, its always early in the morning, or late at night.. so i figured it was just the cold
I'd be nervous if I were you. There's no telling what other damage may have been done. You should get rid of that thing before something else bad happens. I'll give you $1.50 for it as it sits.

As mentioned, good time to replace them all, especially if you can get help as pictured above :whistling: Anyway, I once saw a pickup pogo stick on the beach when a front u-joint went.
this post just made my day lol, the "pucker factor" pretty funny mate. sounds like a pretty low cost fix. but now you can upgrade your muffler !
