I have a 2003 TJ Sport and i have found a soft top from a 2004 TJ Sport, would this still work perfectly?

There are differences between 1997 to 2002 tops and those for 2003 to 2006. For the most part they can be used on all years but there are minor gotchas between those two model year groups.

No doubt, those aren't any of the gotchas. Differences are primarly smaller detail things like the windows where the zippers were changed in 2003 so for example you can't zip a 2002 window into a 2003 top, the hard top's front clasp is narrower starting in 2003 to better fit between the plastic trim added in 2003, etc.

Even Bestop has two different groups of top products that is split between 2002 and older and 2003 and newer. http://www.bestop.com/bestop-product/?p=replace-a-top

The difference is colors and fabrics
