Would I have to regear?

Hi there, im thinking about getting a little lift since i need new shocks and was thinking of a 2 inch lift and run 32's or 33's. I got a 4 banger so not alot of power to start.

The lift won't affect it, but the tires will. Depends on your terrain, driving style and what you expect from it. You have better gears than me, but with the 4 banger Idk.... I have 33's with 3:07's and thought for sure I was screwed when I put 'em on. But really, I drive mostly flat land, short distances, and expect to be slow... I just smile and watch them pass me by... It is a personal thing, if you can't stand to be passed, then don't do it, if it doesn't bother you, then try it, you can always sell the tires and go back to shorter ones, or regear. Keep in mind the speedo/odo will be off, so you are going faster than it appears, and remember.... It's a Jeep, it doesn't go fast, it goes EVERYWHERE!

Having a 4cyl you should have 4.10 gears now, 31s shouldn’t be to bad.
I’m running 3.73s and 32s I’m very happy with the combo, but that’s with a 6cyl and 5speed.

I have a 4 banger on 31" and to me its slow.. I'm getting it regeared on friday to 4:56 from 4:10 .... so you think the 2" lift will not affect the speed? Cuz I might lift it but if its going to slow my jeep nvm...

Lifting doesn't affect anything regarding the power of the Jeep, the increased tire size/rolling mass is what causes the loss of power.
