Holy crap, looks like I will get some seat covers to throw over them,,, anyone have any suggestions in some nice fitting seat covers?? That won't break the bank!

browse the local jeep forums and craigslist adds, somebody is always selling complete TJ seats. or maybe try a local upholstery shop & get a quote for new seat covers.

That's why they are called stealerships. They overcharge parts customers to make up for the lack of sales of new/used vehicles. Looks like they would learn now, but there must be enough crazies out there to keep them pillaging the people.

I like my Iggee covers.

i had the ones from wal-mart in my last jeep and they were like $20 or so, they always dried out really fast was the best part and i could pull them off if they were wet and the seat would be dry under them.

Have you looked into Trek Armor? This is what I am planning on installing on my rig. They are a bit pricey but seem worth it and definately below dealer's prices ($260-$290 for front set and same for rear)

Iggees. There are some pics of mine in my profile. Look awesome, perfect fit & waterproof. $300 for front & rear seats.

I just run $20 Dickies covers. They're water resistant and keep the mud off of the seats, which is all I really wanted out of them. Good enough.

I just took a look at Trek Armor and I know what I am getting. The MOLLIE set up is ideal for keeping storage items with in reach. I already have a first aid kit made for the MOLLIE system that would work great in my Jeep.

Good find Beastmaster!!

I am definitly looking into some aftermarket ones.. ive visited the iggee site and definitly like thosr and checked out the truck armorz ones I saw that even cabelas sells custom seat covers for a few hundred bucks........ still puzzles me why in tge heck a dealership would charge that ungodly amount for covers.

As stated above I have bought used seats on eBay for both my 89 and 97. Was able to match what I had exactly and found seats in excellent shape. For my 97 the drivers side had a cracked side panel and my local auto upholstery shop fixed it right up for me.
