Wow..$8,600.00 for an 06 Rubi is a steal!

But it looks like it is also a scam...buyer beware!

BTW, that 05 Rubi that I was ready to buy was sold before I pulled the trigger, so I am back to looking for a Rubi to buy

Scam. Notice the guy uses a free Gmail email address which is nearly untraceable and he has zero feedback.

Also notice the FREE SHIPPING. lol Who the hell ships a vehicle for free. I went to carmax when looking for a rig and they said to ship me a jeep from Ohio to Chicago (about 450 miles distance) would cost me about 500 bucks. And this rubi has a FREE SHIPPING? lol.

At last

Payment methods accepted

Cashier's Check (certified from US or Canadian bank) or money order

which cannot be returned or tracked once the person receives it

Cash (in person)

i wonder if he would really take cash in person..

Nope they are not fake, they are just hidden (only first and last initials are visible) to protect bidders privacy. It's normal on ebay.

Seller is presumably located in "Alton Park"..but no state? Looks like there is an Alton Park in PA. According to carfax, the jeep was purchased in Mississippi and sold in Feb 07 to a private buyer in Texas.

Its up to $14,600 now.

If I had caught this with the BUY IT NOW at $8600, I'd have to turn into instant ninja and sneak into the bank vault and grab a fist full of Benjamins

It is a Scam in every sense of the word. If I had the time before work, I would report it to Ebay, but I'm headed out the door. I'll do it at lunch. DO NOT EMAIL him. DO NOT BID. Anytime you run across Hyperlinked text in an auction, especially linked to disposable email addresses, you can rest assured that it is a scam.

I do a lot of stuff on eBay so I sent an email to their fraud people saying it looked like a scam auction. If they reply, I'll post up what they say.

It says he took it out twice in the rain. The first time he got stuck at the mall so he got a winch for the second time but couldn't get it to work so he quit on it. Thats why its getting sold
