wrangler angry headlights

i dont know if they make it for the wranglers buy ive always wanted a set of the headlight covers that make the front end of the jeep look angry. I know some of the rockcrawler bumpers have the front hoop going around the headlights and make it look angry but i love my tube bumper, so i just want to buy the covers if a company makes them. Does anyone know of this? or do i have to make my own?

I am not sure as to what you are looking for but if you are talking about the smoke covers there are a few companies that make them like steel horse, smitty built and GTS.I have a set on mine but on all brands you have to use the 3M double sided tape to make sure they do not fall off.I have lost one twice until I used the 3M tape.

But how much does that count down on your headlights at night? Don't they make a spray paint to "black" out headlights?

It cuts way down on the already crappy lighting to tell ya the truth.I don't use my headlights as headlights they are more markers than anything.I have two other sets of lights on the front now one set is for low and the other set comes on with the high beams. It works out great for me but some local laws will not allow it.Yes they make spray on tint but it is and always has been a joke and definitely not a good idea to put anything permanent on your headlights.

Thanks for the information. I think I will leave my headlights as they are.

I think you might be thinking of the chrome trim piece that some people put on their headlights. Though i've only seen them on cj's i don't see why they wouldn't fit on a tj. It sort of makes your headlights look like they have eyebrows, i have no clue what their called. I also think i seen them in an old jcwhitney magazine once.

Yeah I have to agree that does look pretty good on the light lens.I was actually talking about being a joke on windows because I have never tried it on a light lens but I would say it works pretty well for that.On windows it is really hard to work with and most of the time comes out very uneven.

If so.....

Go to a Sign shop that does vinal stickers and such. Get a 12x12'' piece of vinal in the color you want and go to town.

Yea I did the vinyl thing with the taillights on my dodge... The light still shined through so you would need 2 to 3 layers. IMO.

just an off the top of my head idea...
make a 7" circle out of metal (idk how hot they get if you were to try plastic?)... take the angle you want off one side and trace it on the other.
i doubt you'd want to put some kind of adhesive right on the lens so maybe make some tabs that could utilize the screws on the brezel or adjuster screws?
paint/powdercoat... take pics and start producing them so we can buy
