wrong key in ignition

I accidentally put my wife's Jeep Liberty key into my Wrangler. Now, when I put the correct key in the ignition sometimes it starts and sometimes it doesn't for a few tries. Makes me nervous as I don't want to be somewhere and it won't start. How do I fix this issue?

I had that happen in a Ford Explorer. You may need to reset the computer.
