XJ to TJ Cruise control swap

I searched and didn't pop up with anything but i was wondering are the XJ and TJ cruise control parts compatible?

I have my eye on a same year XJ at a local salvage yard and was going to take all the cruise control parts off it and put them on my TJ.

Yes they are the same. Is your Jeep pre-wired for cruise?

I was looking at the connector pin out for your 98, it is different from mine and the one in the PDF link that you posted. Do you have a Factory Service Manual for your 98?

You can get a PDF file download for free here.... JeepsLimited.com - Home
You have to register first, but it will help you alot.

After comparing the 98 and 00 connector pin outs side by side I see that the only difference is what PCM connector you would have to install the 4 pins in. Mine is C3, which is on the left and yours is C1 on the right.
