Year 2000 Cherokee seats for a 97 TJ

Found a great deal on some like new Cherokee seats. I am thinking of replacing my worn out, spice colored TJ seats with these. The guy selling them says they'll go right in, but I just wanted to check with you guys. As a bonus, the driver's seat is powered, with the controls mounted on the side of the seat. My main concern is sitting too high.

I don't think they will bolt in.

The one downside to the XJ seats, they were shorter than Wrangler seats in overall height, and lack the bigger bolsters that the TJ seats have. We tried swapping in some TJ seats into my dad's '92 XJ and they were too tall, even with custom brackets. I donno about the new XJ's... but my mom's '99 has short seats as well.

I don't mind them being shorter, they do have an adjustable headrest, what I'm worried about is them sitting too high. I'm 6'1" sporting Raingler netting year round.

Grab a tape measure. Measure from the bottom of the rail to the seat on your tj and have the guy measure from the rail to the seat on the Cherokee seats. Then you will know if it will sit to high. Problem solved.

I know the bolt pattern is exactly the same. But Id stick with the wrangler seats, most XJ guys switch for ours because there better and offer more support.
