Go Black coated Stainless Steel on it all. Hinges, Mirrors, Rims, etc. My Jeep is also yellow and the black makes for a nice accent. Besides the fact that all the original door and tailgate hinges corroded apart.
The tires are 35x12.50x15 TrXus MT's. I was wanting 37's but money was too tight at the time.
The lift is a spring over plus 3" springs, and a 1" shackle lift. The body sits 2.5" higher but it only has the daystar 1" body lift on it. I added 1.5" of steel to the body to make room for the tummy tuck. All in all its lifted somewhere between 11-12 inches.
BLACK!
It looks awesome on yellow Jeeps, plus if you scrape it (and you know you will) just break out the ol' POR15 or Rustoleum and touch it up. Chrome eventually will always rust, then peel and look like hell.
That's why you don't buy chrome crap - get quality stainless and forget it. Black will also peel and look "like hell" as you say. It requires upkeep to keep the rust bunnies away.
I was going to reply and say you must not have looked long enough on the forums to see all the Chrome Nazi posts on here saying black crap somehow makes your Jeep better :blunt::rofl:. I see they have literally pulled you to the dark side. Sorry :zap: Chrome won't get you home and Black won't get you back :bottom:
