Question Yet another tire question

I've found a set of 4 super swamper ltbs 35x10.5x15's for $400. Only thing that concerns me is that 10.5.

I feel like they are either A)going to lack in performance and B)look ridiculous. I don't have the 900 to spend on the new set of M/T Baja claws i like.

Any recommendations it's time for a new set mine are almost worn completely out. Looking for something that does well in sand and mud and won't break the bank.

its going to give it a taller look and if you play in the mud thats somthing you want. keepin mind that the tires only work as good as the driver lets them. if it were me i'd just save up and buy the M/Ts you want. the claws will work alot better than the super swampers. and its a better ride on the highway.

LTB's I believe are Bias ply tires so kindof flat spot and run a little crappy on the street if it's your means of travel to & from the trail. Swampers will dig too much in the sand and if not careful with the skinny pedal will hurt in the mud too... LOL

If you want something good in both sand & mud, might have to look into the Coopers or Maxxis Bighorns since they won't break the bank to bad.

Check out used ones on the jeepforum.com classifieds... there's always some decent one there forsale.
