Ok so I was looking for a tj hardtop and couldn't find a decent priced one so instead I stumbled upon a cheap ya hardtop missing some glass and maybe hinges not to sure will pick it up later but I've seen u have to cut the front lip for it to fit sounds easy enough what about latches for the rear glass? Any tops or ideas will be appreciated
Without having some sort of template to go by, just lay the hardtop onto the jeep, notice where the top is hitting the top of the windshield, remove the top, trim it a little, then repeat the process until the top fits snug?
Too bad you can't buy a cardboard cutout, showing how much to trim away.
There's plenty of other threads already on this if you do some googling. If I knew exactly I would tell you but I've only researched it. Haven't found a cheap enough Tj too for me to do it myself yet
