If you redrill the holes a little bit.

Don't remember the exact measurement but the TJ's bolt hole is like 3/8's wider than the YJ's.

If that's the only difference, then I'll invest in the YJ plate that I can get a deal on. Happen to know the frame rail width on a YJ by chance?

It would depend on the type of mods that you needed to make to the YJ plate to make it fit. You sure don't want to weaken the plate by drilling extra holes in the mounting area.

I've been hemming and hawing about it since yesterday and I'm thinking along the same lines Ed. I had an opportunity to pick up a Warn plate for a YJ for $30 off Craigslist. I think I'll just spend a few extra bucks and get the one made for my TJ.

Won't weaken it. Just widen the holes already in the plate about 1/8 on each side.

My 94 YJ is measuring 31" center to center on the mounting bolts.
