The jeep did well though, in the cold. Might have to look at some insulation in the center panels of the top...but then again, maybe not.

It was 11 this morning where I live, and I wished so badly my heater would work. Somehow it actually did. I've owned the jeep since August and A/c and heat both havent worked. Strange much but I'm not arguing.

I guess I shouldn't complain about 40 degree weather here in California then haha.

Wow I am lucky over here. It very seldom drops to 40 over here not even mentioning below. If it gets that cold it usually still warms up significantly during the day. We never get any snow or ice so Jeeps are usually totally rust free. My '03 does not have a single spot of rust anywhere.

On the downside we have summer rainfall so taking the top and/or doors off is always risky.

We usually get a few below freezing nights a year here in NE FL. But like you, my 05 has no rust at all. That's part of why the prices are absurdly high here - the other piece is demand for a great looking, reliable convertible that can go anywhere, and get you to places on the beach that are a lot less crowded. 70 today, and running in safari mode!

When your dad asks why you never wave back at him, and you make him realize there's another wrangler almost identical to yours in the neighborhood haha

Question. Why don't you wave at ALL wranglers. If not All jeeps. Except for JK's. it's ok not to wave at them.

According to my small research, the lowest temperature ever recorded in Houston was 9 degrees. It's been below 9 degrees in New York here for like 2 weeks lol. Also, I was in Houston last year for the shell Eco marathon. It was so hot down there. I would be sweating while doing nothing. I'm not great with heat though either...

Had some issues with battery corrosion, so what do normal people do? I'm not sure. All I know is that I rewired all the wires going from the battery to the grounds, starter, alternator, and fuse box. To the alternator, fuse box, and firewall ground I used 6 gauge. For the starter, and block ground I went big and used 1 gauge!
