Uhhh stock? No. It's got a 4 inch lift with 33s, a performance chip, cold air intake etc... It's not stock and I don't drive excessively fast to make it go down. I have no idea why it's so bad. It's a 6 speed too

Oh ok sorry this post just loaded. Disregard my last post haha. But it just doesn't make any sense to me why it sucks so bad.

What's your chip set at? That might be the issue.

Yep anywhere from 12 to 18 on the freeway. It all depends on the hills and wind.

You know you own a TJ when... you would get a better reactions by calling someone ugly compared to calling their Jeep stock.

I might have to disagree... I have a Flashpaq and I definitely notice a difference in mileage when I am on the gas saver mode and and the performance when in the 91 Octane mode.

And both settings are definitely different then stock. On the other hand I do have just 42k miles on an '06. So maybe that has something to do with it.

As for cold air, it helps! It scares the crap out of the people next to you and makes them thing you have more power then you really have. So they back off. (K&N here)

Yea I have a jet performance chip and a K&N air raid. I just don't have a dang programmer to set the chip with so I have no idea what it is set on. But yes I do love the sound of that cold air intake! Haha

When your teacher mentions a scholarship for a full ride and the first thin you think of is all you could do to your jeep the the money you saved for college.

When you owe taxes instead of getting a return but you still spend money on the jeep to make yourself feel better.

When you would rather put a tarp over the Jeep when it rains because you don't want to put the top back on.

When you spring the extra change for a locker at the golf course so you can keep your clubs there and leave the top down without worrying about someone stealing them...

I've thrown it out before but why do we blame JKs? At least were I love ill get CJ, YJ, TJ, whatever else that doesn't wave, it has nothing to do with a specific model. A lot of it has to do with people just not knowing.

When you can tell how warm it is by how much noise your top makes, it's almost 30 today and its the first time I've noticed the noise in almost 2 months.
